David grew up in Hingham, Massachusetts which is about 20 minutes south of Boston. David still lives in Mass and only a few towns away from where he grew up. David started off his entertainment career in 2005 where he appeared along side horror icon Robert Englund on the TV series 'A Nightmare on Elm Street: Real Nightmares'. During David's career as a police officer, a production company was filming inside his department and David was cast as a police officer extra. Former Massachusetts police officer turned independent filmmaker, David has a history in the horror genre. Starting his career working with Robert England proved to David his passion for horror. Over the years, David has worked with other horror icons such as Tony Todd, Michael Berryman, Tony Moran and others. Additional work came in television in 2010 when David was a talent scout for Jerry Seinfeld's production 'The Marriage Ref' which aired on NBC.
